The Wallin Hicks Foundation stands on a family history spanning over 150 years preserved through the efforts of Eva D. Wallin-Hick. We have a holistic approach to helping people. This rich history was passed down from former slave John Henry McLaughlin to his son Emmanuel "Uncle Jake" McLaughlin, both of which were business owners, landowners, & highly respected black southerners in North Carolina.
Through the efforts and training of Clara Del Wallin and Eva D Wallin-Hicks, we were taught the importance of Church, family, homeownership, and community involvement. These pillars still guide us today as we progress and preserve our family and communities toward the 200-year history mark.

Your support and contributions to our non-profit will enable us to meet our goals and improve community conditions, Christian Education, health & wellness, and Financial Literacy. Your generous donation will help fund our mission.
